1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how PubNexus ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the PDF Resize in KB Android application ("App"). The App compresses PDF files to a target size in KB or MB directly on your Android device.
2. Core privacy promise
PDF compression is performed on your device. Your selected PDF files are not uploaded to PubNexus servers for compression. We do not operate a cloud PDF-processing backend that receives your documents.
3. Information stored on your device
To provide the App experience, PDF Resize in KB may store information locally on your device, including:
- App settings stored with Android DataStore, such as theme preference, default target size, and output filename behavior
- Recent compression history metadata (file names, sizes, and output references)
- Temporary processing files and cached app data used during compression
This local data remains on your device until it is cleared by you, your operating system, or by uninstalling the App.
4. Information we do not collect for processing
- We do not require account registration
- We do not upload your PDF files to our own servers for compression
- We do not sell your personal information
5. Network access
An internet connection is required to compress PDFs in the App. The App checks network availability before starting compression. Network access is also used for advertising and related services described below.
6. Google AdMob and third-party services
The free version of the App may display ads through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may process information such as:
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- App interactions and ad interaction data
- Diagnostics and performance data
- Device identifiers and advertising identifiers
This information may be shared with Google for purposes such as serving and measuring ads, analytics, and fraud prevention, in accordance with Google's policies.

Most App data is stored locally on your device. You can clear recent history from Settings inside the App, clear app storage in Android settings, or uninstall the App.

10. Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through an account system because the App does not require account creation. If you believe a child has sent us personal information directly by email, contact us and we will review the request.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date on this page.
